This product contains the definitive list of NHS Authorities and Districts along with the postcodes that define the NHS territories.  In total there are 1.696 million postcodes for Great Britain, i.e. it includes England, Scotland and Wales and Islands (including Isle of Wight, Anglesey, the Isles of Scilly, the Hebrides, and the island groups of Orkney and Shetland) and excludes Isle of Man, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland.  The list is therefore very comprehensive. accurately derived from Ordnance Survey information, meaning the file accurately aligns over 90% of the UK's Postcodes to the NHS's regions and is therefore perfect for planning, territory management and analysis of populations / households etc.
